Direct debit billing provider DFC acquired by Debitsuccess

UK-based direct debit billing provider DFC has been acquired by Debitsuccess, provider of e-commerce services for subscription-based businesses.

DFC, based in Milton Keynes, UK, provides billing services to more than 250,000 customers in the leisure sector in the UK, as well as utilities, publishers and telecommunications providers.

DFC (www.debitfinance.co.uk) says it will be able to expand its international operations as a result.

Debitsuccess, headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand, has been operating for nearly 20 years and processes over 20 million transactions annually for more than 3,000 businesses across Australasia.

Debitsuccess CEO, Craig Marshall, said: "With a 38-year history in the UK, DFC is a prominent DD service provider that enjoys an exemplary reputation within the industry. It is an extremely good fit both culturally and operationally."

With DFC now under the Debitsuccess banner, they have a foothold in a region of the world where there is an increasing demand for subscription services.

Lynn Young, managing director of DFC, said: "This new association with Debitsuccess will add further value to our operations - firstly through sales and contact centre strategy and, secondly, through support at a governance and executive level."
